The University of Jordan Hosts the 2nd International Business and Digital Economy (IBDE) Forum 2024 Under the patronage of UJ President Dr. Nathir Obeidat and Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Ahmad Hanandeh, the School of Business hosted the 2nd Business and Digital Economy Forum 2024, bringing together over 300 experts and researchers from Jordan and abroad. The event featured 105 research papers across 34 sessions, covering topics like business management, accounting, finance, marketing, and digital transformation. Discussions focused on AI, fintech, investment trends, and the future of digital economies. For the second time, the student volunteer team successfully organized and managed the forum under the supervision of Dr. Hazar Hammoud, ensuring smooth operations and a professional experience for all attendees. The forum concluded with key recommendations emphasizing digital transformation, AI ethics, fintech development, and fostering research and innovation.

An-Najah National University

The University of Jordan and An-Najah National University in Palestine wrapped up their joint scientific conference, titled “Towards a Resilient Future: Bridging the Gap Between Innovation, Business Intelligence, and Sustainability in Modern Business,” organized by the Faculty of Business at the University of Jordan in collaboration with An-Najah’s Faculty of Business and Communication. The event, held both physically and virtually, featured prominent speakers, including university presidents and deans. Over two days, more than 75 peer-reviewed papers were presented, with participation from over 200 experts and researchers from over 14 countries. The conference discussed key topics such as fintech innovations, international financial reporting standards, digital marketing strategies, and the integration of AI in business operations. As part of the organizing team, the Faculty of Business volunteer group contributed to the success of the event through logistical support, coordination, and engaging with participants to ensure smooth conference proceedings. Key recommendations from the conference included encouraging the adoption of fintech and e-marketing by businesses, enhancing transparency, and implementing sustainability reporting alongside financial disclosures to ensure long-term viability. The conference concluded with awards for participants, certificates for contributors, and recognition of volunteers who played a pivotal role in the event's execution.

Under the Patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein, Jordan’s first Semiconductor Design Competition (JoSDC 2023) was a resounding success, aligning with the nation’s Economic Modernization Vision - رؤية التحديث الاقتصادي. JoSDC fostered creativity and innovation, bringing together students, engineers, and innovators nationwide. The event was supported by Fifth Advisory Services (The Fifth), the Ministry of Digital Economy & Entrepreneurship, the Crown Prince Foundation, and dedicated volunteers, including the Faculty of Business volunteer team at the University of Jordan. This team played a key role in ensuring the seamless execution and coordination of the event, managing logistics, assisting participants, and enhancing the overall event experience. The top three teams were: • Ctrl Elite from Hashemite University • Teamlleh from the University of Jordan • Risin'23 from Princess Sumaya University for Technology

A team of student volunteers played a key role in organizing and managing the forum, ensuring its success under the supervision of Dr. Hazar Hammoud. At the closing ceremony, the professors were honored for their contributions, reinforcing the school’s commitment to global engagement and knowledge exchange.
